Marco Zanin, born in 1986, has released music on some of the most influential house labels of recent years: Chiwax, Hot Haus/Unknown To The Unknown, Shall Not Fade, Domina Trxx and many others. He began his career as a DJ at Flow in Padua, later bringing his DJ sets to venues such as Tresor and Salon Zur Wilden Renate in Berlin, Corsica Studios in London, Closer in Kyiv, Faust in Seoul, as well as Japan, France, Croatia, Austria and Russia. In 2017 he founded the label Metal Position together with Steve Murphy. In 2021 he launched Perty Records, Metal Position’s cassette sub-label.

DJ, producer and label owner, DJ Octopus is an exponent of the Venetian avant- garde house scene and promoter, together with Steve Murphy, Sagats, Madi Grein, Lucretio and Marieu (The Analogue Cops), of the “Sound of Brenta”, which has established itself within the club music landscape, especially outside Italy.
